Resin Care:
Epoxy resin reacts with heat which can make it soft. This can result in misshapen items. I do my best to keep items flat during the shipping process; however, if your item arrives and it is out of shape or you live in a hot climate, this is how you can re-shape your item: Please use a heat gun or hair dryer on hot to heat the item until it is slightly bendable (Do NOT heat it too much). Put the heated item on a flat surface and leave it there until the resin becomes hard again.Hot climates may result in constant, slightly flexible items. This is nothing to worry about as long as, when storing the item, it is stored flat.
Upon Receiving Blanks:
I do my best to make sure you're receiving ready-to-go pieces by doing a quality check. As I am not perfect, some minor things may get overlooked. If a piece has an uneven back, you can level it out by using an emery board. BE CAREFUL of the delicate parts that stick out of the sides of the pieces as they can break off if there is not much holding it on.
When working with resin, bubbles are a common occurrence. I do my upmost to ensure minimal to no bubbles are present. If there are only a few bubbles and are not to noticeable then it will pass my quality check. However, if a piece has more than a few bubbles and will stand out, I sell them at a discounted rate on my “One Off” page.
Priming & Painting:
Before painting, spray the item with a clear plastic primer. I highly recommend Dulux Duramax Plastic Primer Spray Paint. Spray primers will be the easiest to use and just a light coat will ensure your paint will have enough bite. This means your paint is less likely to chip or scratch off.
I use Acrylic paints on my resin pieces. Gold Leaf paint is my favourite to use when adding touches of gold to the pieces. Rust-Oleum spray paints are also a great option with vibrant, glossy colours if you want to cover the whole piece. Some pieces have very fine details that you may wish to paint, in which case, I like to use a magnifying lamp to help me see all the details.

I use Australia Post Flat Rate Shipping within Australia for resin cast pieces. Larger items require a medium sized bag.
I am located on the Gold Coast, QLD. The further you are away, the longer shipping may take.
I will aim to ship your order within 48 hours of purchase and a tracking number will be emailed to you.

Please be aware that I run 2 time consuming businesses at once. The dollhouse & Miniatures is a huge undertaking with resin casts, silicone blend casts and 3D Printed items. As I can only work on making items part time for now, I only have a small amount of stock. As a result despatch time can take up to 7 working days.
